  Nice golf course, still quite new, so some of it is a bit bland. Quite flat and fairly wide fairways make it an easier course to play. Great clubhouse, very friendly place

  It doesn't get better than this.. Took my family to The Bedford Golf club for Mother's Day again this year and enjoyed first class service and delicious food, in a relaxed and friendly environment. Eamon and his team always provide a warm and friendly welcome on arrival and the room is set out perfectly to accommodate a number of guests whilst maintaining a privacy not often afforded in many eating establishments. The food was piping hot and tasty, delivered in line with how long I would expect to wait; we were not pressured into finishing, nor left wondering where the food was... To end the lovely experience, we were pleasantly surprised at the bill and how amazing the value for money is. As a Yorkshireman, getting the combination of friendly banter, good portion sizes and relatively low cost are a high priority for me and The Bedford did not disappoint! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.   The club house bar has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The course is well kept and is fairly flat with some interesting layouts. The food they serve is generally of a very high standard with plenty of attention to detail that I find pleasing. The roast dinners are very nice and they even provided a well-done version of the roast beef for me as I prefer my meat cooked through... Very helpful and understanding!
