  A great traditional artisan rope worker. It's a dying art kept alive and done beautifully by ropework uk. I was privileged to watch him work on a large rope bridge made for a film being shot at Pine Wood Studios. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

  This firm seems to be no longer trading. Despite numerous attempts via text, email and Facebook I cannot get any response despite being an existing customer wishing to place further orders. Second Review . 31. 8. 16 6.10.16 Mr. Outram maintains that his firm is still " alive and well ". This may be so when it comes to taking ones money, but his firm is definitely deceased and defunct when it comes to delivering the product ordered. This past week whilst moored in St. Helier, Jersey I ordered that which Outram took my money for but did not deliver. I told the Channel Island chandler what I wanted and he made up five whilst we had a pot of coffee and some Navy rum between us. He was disgusted at Outrams unprofessionalism and made no charge ; I even got the remnants of the pussers rum to take away with me ! Contrast this with my earlier comments such as those below. After very many attempts via Facebook, email, text, phone etc. in order to get a response to my order for repeat items, they were finally delivered. Despite making it quite clear that my repeat order was for items identical to the first, they were quite different and fell apart immediately. I spoke to Mr. Outram personally and was assured that acceptable items would replace the useless ones. Very many weeks lately I have still not received them. I now make my own and to a better quality and cheaper price.
